📌 Organized by the Social Research Institute, the Institute of Asian Studies, the Faculty of Political Science, the Thai Studies Institute, the Water Resources Research Center, and the Human and Social Development Program, Graduate School, under the Knowledge Sharing Across Chulalongkorn Faculties project. 📖✨
🎙️ Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, delivered the opening speech.
🎤 Associate Professor Dr. Unruan Leknoi, Director of Chulalongkorn University, Social Research Institute, presented the event report.
✍🏻 This event featured insightful discussions on key human rights issues in ASEAN, presented by distinguished experts in human rights and regional cooperation. The discussions covered challenges and opportunities in promoting human rights, regional cooperation mechanisms, and the role of academic institutions in supporting human rights protection. Additionally, an exhibition was held to further explore these issues, aiming to enhance dialogue, foster sustainable collaboration, and drive meaningful change. This aligns with the belief that:
“Knowledge that is not applied remains mere text, but knowledge that is mobilized becomes an inexhaustible force.”
🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 This panel discussion and exhibition were not just academic exchanges but also a platform to encourage concrete actions and sustainable outcomes in advancing human rights in ASEAN.
