Development of Facilitators and Knowledge Based on Practices for Health Equity

Details

1. To enhance the capacity of health promotion practitioners by equipping them with knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the importance of health equity and the social determinants of health.
2. To develop the capacity of health promotion practitioners to become facilitators and/or to enhance the capabilities of facilitators working in other areas, enabling them to effectively conduct training on health equity and the social determinants of health.
3. To strengthen the capacity of individuals, groups, networks, and organizations involved in health promotion to create spaces for developing and designing work processes, as well as to design mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating health equity initiatives.
4. To advance and build upon knowledge derived from social health operations to foster learning and drive actions aimed at achieving health equity.
